i am going to tell one strategy that will help you remember any vocabulary word

Take a index or note card and put it in a side
This strategy is called as LINCS

List the parts
(list the vocabulary in the front of the index card and write the definition on the back of the card)

Identify a reminding word
(write a word that reminds you on the bottom of the vocabulary word in the card)

Note a LINCing story
(write a small story or sentence based on the reminding word on bottom of the definition)

Create a LINCing picture
(draw a sample picture based on the reminding word)

Self Test
(test yourself all the LINCing steps to remember a vocabulary word
